【个人简历】:

Ning Lu is professor of civil and environmental engineering at Colorado School of Mines (CSM), and the director of the joint CSM/US Geological Survey Geotechnical Research Laboratory in Golden, CO. He is a recipient of the ASCE 2007 Norman Medal, 2010 Croes Medal, 2017 Biot Medal, and 2017 Peck Medal, as well as a fellow of America Society of Civil Engineers, Engineering Mechanics Institute, and Geological Society of America. His primary research interests are flow and stress laws in multiphase porous media, rainfall-induced instability of natural and engineered slopes, geologic hazards, energy storage in porous media, and subsurface nuclear waste isolation. He is the senior author of the widely used textbook Unsaturated Soil Mechanics (非饱和土力学) (John Wiley and Sons, 2004) and the recently published textbook Hillslope Hydrology and Stability (斜坡水文与稳定) (Cambridge University Press, 2013). Both books have been also published by高等教育出版社。He is also an associate editor for Vadose Zone Hydrology, and Geotechnical Testing Journal, and a guest editor for Journal of Engineering Mechanics, and Vadose Zone Hydrology.

【课程简介】:

传统的土力学以饱和土体为研究对象,取得了系统的研究成果,并用于指导工程实践。然而地球上的土体大多以非饱和形态存在,非饱和土在应力变形、渗流、稳定等方面与饱和土有显著的区别,非饱和土力学是当今岩土工程的热点研究领域,并取得丰富的研究成果。在许多世界一流大学的岩土工程系列课程中,均开设非饱和土专业课程,系统讲授该领域的基本理论、介绍其工程应用情况。本课程教授非饱和土力学基本理论、工程应用,以及相关的案例分析。课程还将讨论目前非饱和土力学研究前沿和发展方向。
